Dirk Koers was stationed in Leiden, among other places. Here you see what is left of the Doelen barracks, the entrance gate and to the right of it the arsenal. The rest of the barracks, except for a second entrance gate, has made way for new construction. On the left the Doelengracht where, according to the civil registry, Dirk lived.
